WORLD CLASH 2003 MANIA

That was the plea that Panther made to New York in his introductory round, and it seems as if the fans listened because Black Kat is now the new WORLD CLASH 2003 CHAMPION!!!! GET WORLD CLASH 2003 ON CD AT MusicFrEaKCentral.com. 

This year's WORLD CLASH as always was filled with drama, and the deciding vote to name Black Kat the victor was of course controversial in nature!!   For those who want the early scoop here's a quick preview: The first round was introductory with no elimination - Crown won the round; Rebel Tone was the first to go in the second round while Panther took the win; in the third round two sounds had to drop out and Poison Dart was the first, then the crowd was stuck between eliminating One Love and Matsimela - they cut Matsimela - Black Kat won the round; the forth was a 45 round which if Kat won there would be no need for Dub Fi Dub.  The crowd said Panther took it and that was all she wrote!!

It's now 7:23am (Sunday) and I've been typing since I got home from the clash!! POISON DART MAKES IT TO WORLD CLASH 2003

GET US RUMBLE - ROAD TO WORLD CLASH 2003 ON CD RIGHT HERE AT MFC.com.  For the hardcore foreign clash fans who are asking where is the US representative on the WORLD CLASH 2003 flyer, well their prayers were answered on October 4th when Florida's Poison Dart (despite their troublesome laptop and some old fashion Stur Gav one-turntable style selecting early out) won I & C's US RUMBLE - ROAD TO WORLD CLASH 2003 hosted by Bass Odyssey's Squingy.

It was an all guns out battle but Dart was able to beat the likes of runner up Stainless, Natural Vibes, Raw Deal, Blunt Posse, Snow White, and Black Hustler (Mickey Faith was a no-show)!  Lets all give the US representative Poison Dart a hearty welcome to the slaughter!  GET THE CLASH ON CD AT MusicFrEaKCentral.com.

For those who do not understand the significance of the Biltmore Era, an MFC.com History Lesson: The phrase "Biltmore Era" is used to refer to the time period from the late 80s to the mid 90s when New York sounds first made their mark in the international clash arena in a meaningful way. 

The Biltmore Era was signified by such New York sounds as Downbeat, King Addies, Ballys, LP Intl, Earthruler, Stereosonic, Soul Supreme, Afrique, Libra Love, Spectrum, Thunderbolt, Firgo Digital, Mini Mart, King Kustom, Techniques, and more.  Yard sounds that have blessed the halls of Biltmore include just about every one: Jaro, Bodyguard, Bass Odyssey, Black Kat, Stone Love, Metromedia, Jamrock, 4x4 Exodus, Exodus Nuclear, Saxon (UK), and SoulJah One (Bermuda) just to name a few.

Even though the era is called "Biltmore" (after the most notorious  venue of that era - the Biltmore Ballroom on Church Avenue near Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn), there were also other signature hotspots such as Starlight Ballroom and Flamingo!  MFC.com has the distinction of carrying the most complete online collection of Biltmore Era recordings.  Our 1991-1996 Catalogue will be returning soon so all you Biltmore fans, stay tuned...
